My husband and I just love Loveland! It is such a wonderful town. Even as it grows, it keeps all of it's small town charm. Loveland is one of my favorite places to spend an afternoon, between walking through old town and visiting the plentiful art galleries and adorable boutiques to taking our little ones to play at the parks and on the shores. Be sure to check out the Sculpture park, and if you are visiting in February, take time to read the hearts hanging all over town. If only the commute to work was so far, we would settle in Loveland in an instant!
The Loveland Guestbook
I recently spent a week in Loveland on a working vacation, boy was I impressed! Having grown up on the east coast I am not used to cities so clean. It seems as though there is a sculpture on every corner and the sculpture parks are outstanding, so the place is a feast for the eyes, but what impressed me the most was the attitude of the residents. I could live there in a heartbeat. Thank you Loveland!
We first came to Loveland when I was a child. As soon as my husband and I retired from the military we began job hunting out here from the east coast and fortunately were able to move back to Colorado. My 2nd daughter even got married in the little Loveland chappel. Loveland, which is near and dear to my heart is especially great for anyone who loves any kind art and especially photography as a whole. You will never want for place to photograhp here.
Come visit us! You will never want to go back.
We visit Loveland every couple of months, for both business and pleasure. Take the time to visit Benson Sculpture Park and allow a couple of hours to see all the sculptures. Every visitor really must visit the Dam Store on the Western edge of Loveland (www.bestdamstore.com) for special gifts and a neat observation tower.
We love searching for all the HeARTs around Loveland and taking photos with them. Great photos on your site!
I've been to Loveland many times on my way to Rocky Mountain National Park. I love the view of the mountains over Lake Loveland as you drive by. The sculpture all over town gives a cultural feel. I love shopping out at the Promenade Shops by the interstate. My two favorite restaurants are Sophia's Bistro and Biaggis, and the best ice cream is the Italian gelato place Paciugo. My favorite place to hike is out at Devil's Backbone - I saw my first rattlesnake there! My kids' favorite place to go is the Fairgrounds park because they can get right in the river.
